A Disney Winter Wonderland - Of LED Lights

Winter Wonderland
If you are in the North Bay Area (California) this holiday season, a house that can't be missed is the most unique lighting anywhere we've seen. All characters and lights are unique designs of Scott Weaver and all are hand painted works of art. The lighting is a generous byproduct of the house as you can probably see it from outer space.

Here's the link to a map if you want to check it out this holiday: Cielo St. Rohnert Park, CA

Scott has also created the San Francisco Treat out of toothpicks which he considers his life's greatest work. With over 3,000 hours spent on it, you can see why here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/tinkering_studio/5613291421/

SFMOMA: 3D Screen of LED Lights

San Francisco, the home of the Golden Gate Bridge, Pier 39 and some amazing art exhibits. The SFMOMA (San Francisco Museum of Modern Art) has one of the coolest exhibits ever. The exhibit "Exploded Views" is a seemingly random mess of flickering LED Lights at first glance. But heat out to the upstairs landing and suddenly these random lights will transform themselves into a 3D looking screen where human figures come to life!

Artist Jim Campbell recently unveiled his latest creation, which is composed of thousands of computer controlled LED Lights creating an atmosphere of humanistic shadows and fleeting figures.

A new application process emerges for NASA, and starting yesterday, they are holding open enrollment to be considered for employment. The next class of astronauts could potentially be you. If you can apply at USAjobs.gov, you could be the next Buzz Aldrin. These new breed of astronauts will advance the research on the space station to benefit life on Earth, and develop the knowledge to seek out new life and new civilization.... If Tron Had a Day Job

Not sure if Tron sits behind a desk all day when he's not light-fighting, but if he does have a real job, it would probably be in a place like this.

Believe it or not, this is a company in Spain that deals with sewage. Interesting motif, but it could be worse I guess. Next time you are sitting in your cubicle, do yourself a favor and ask your boss for some new digs.
