Laser light shows are a key ingredient in the production of a great concert. Laser lights have become a phenomenon among many rock, pop, hip hop and mainly electronic talent. Laser light is practical in an entertainment setting like a concert because of the nature of laser light allows a narrow beam to be produced, which allows the use of optical scanning to draw patterns or images on walls, ceilings or other surfaces including theatrical smoke and fog. This light beam is also extremely visible to the naked eye, which makes the lasers so captivating. Lasers are in close relation to common LED Lights, but use a series of mirrors to project a beam across a plane. One thing you may not know, powerful lasers that you see in bigger concert venues, actually have to be permitted by the FAA as they are so bright, and can be seen from such a distance that planes flying overhead or below can get distracted.
Laser lights are also becoming the new trend in night clubs across the world. Club lighting is an integral part of a party-goer’s overall experience. Professional night club lighting include everything from LED lights to laser light productions. These lights help to illuminate the dance floor, the stage and the universal ambiance of the night club. LED Lights are operated in a number of ways. Clubs can sync them up with their current DMX system, control them separately, or even let them go to their own beats with their own sound activation system. There are even special programs that can utilize the laser machine to spell out a company logo, direct foot traffic along a sidewalk, or even cycle through animals or shapes. Laser programs are becoming more advanced throughout the new decade and we will start to see some incredible things that lasers will produce.
